Blurb about you- What kind of artist are you?
I'm a simple artist in the fact I like things natural and not over edited. What are your interests? I have a big interest in textiles and fashion. I like to create different garments and shop for new items. Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years time I see myself working as a personal clothes shopper and earning money through fashion and textiles. Dreams & aspirations? One of my dreams is to run my own clothes shop, where I can help people find their own style and make them feel good. |
How do your images relate to the theme of Time?
My images relate to time as I wanted to capture the different seasons throughout the year, such as Winter and Summer. Did you crop/rotate/use levels in your images? How did you edit them? I used Photoshop to edit my images, on some of the images I cropped them so that the main subject point of visible. Also I did edit the levels and brightness of the images to add color and depth. How did you remove the common faults? i.e. fingermarks/blur/pixelation etc To remove faults from the images I used Photoshop and used the paint tool to cover up any unwanted marks also I used a graphics tablet to help me to remove the marks. How could this website use be important? This website is important as its a good way to document everyone work which can then be used for interviews or just to show people their work. Have you manipulated your images at all if so how? If not, why not? If have not manipulated my images as I wanted to leave them as natural as I could as I like things to be simple and clean. What techniques have you used? (photoshop or on shoot) I used Photoshop to edit the colors and unwanted marks on most of the images. Any legal requirements/ethical issues you faced? Some people may think I haven't taken these images myself which may concern people. Any health and safety precautions? When taking the images I always had the strap around my neck so I wouldn't drop it and break the camera. What did you enjoy about this process, and what could you improve on? I enjoyed scanning in different objects on to the computer and editing them on Photoshop as I had never done that before. I could have taken more images of the rain and cloudy weather as most of the images are sunny ones. |

How does your film link with your project on Time? My video links with time as I wanted to capture the different seasons and weather throughout the year. Any difficulties? Any strengths? I did struggle to edit the video on Premiere Pro as I had never it before. By the end, I was happy with the outcome as the video runs smoothly and had clean transitions. |
