Equipment used: Tripod and Samsung Phone File Sizes/Formats: 2,34mb jpg My image is a representation of the process when overcoming different challenges, Mental or physical. Firstly you could say that this image relates to time because I literally had to time the jump perfectly in order to take this picture. Secondly, You could say that I am working against time in order to overcome this challenge. It started when the park was dry and as you can see from the water drops in the image the weather had changed so essentially I was working against the weather and time in order to overcome this particular challenge. My intentions were to show time in this case by using movement and expressions. On my phone I edited the image by increasing the shadows and the contrast a little bit and I also used an option to automatically enhance the photo but essentially this increased the brightness and the colour differentiation a little. If I had just used the timer in my phone to try and capture the image at the right time, It would create a blurry image because the ISO is too high. I had to change the shooting mode to sport which automatically set the ISO to low which decreased the amount of blur in the image. I think that this website could be important as it can also be used as a template in the future. We could possibly use the template of this website to produce an online portfolio, gather ideas or information to create another website and also this is a good way to show your personal development. I manipulated the images because I thought that the original images looked a bit too light and there was no density. The original didn't evoke any emotions and therefore needed further development. I didn't necessarily use any techniques. I set the level of the tripod to low to ensure that I got the whole scene in the shot. I then pivoted the top part upward to get a nice angle of the shot, then I set the timer to 20 seconds. During the shot I didn't face any legal requirement or ethical issues. When doing this sport, you don't really think about health any safety unless you are doing something that makes you doubt yourself or you capabilities and in this case, I didn't experience that emotions therefore there were no health and safety precautions. During the process I enjoyed capturing the images and editing them the most and I think that I could improve on maybe introducing some blur in my photos to create a sense of depth and 3d effects. |
