BCA LEVEL 3
How do your images relate to the theme of Time? What was your artistic intention?
All my images represent important or memorable moments in time that i wanted to document and edit to bring across emotions as well as the image.
How did you edit your photos and what techniques have you used?
Editing my photos, i did crop some of them. I cropped images where i thought there was too much background space, this was the case for most of the scanned images i included where the empty spaces took away from the final shot. I edited all my photos on Photoshop, mainly experimenting with gradient maps and masks to layer effects on certain parts of photos i wanted to highlight.
How did you remove the common faults? ie fingermarks/blur/pixelation etc
Once i had taken my photos and scanned in my images, i went into photoshop and adjusted brightness levels and if needed, I zoomed in and erased any noticeable marks that would take away from the impact of the final image.
How could this website use be important?
This website can show skills of editing photos and videos and its also somewhere to compile all photography work for this project into one place so it can easily be accessed in the future.
What did you enjoy about this process, and what could you improve on?
i liked this project as it allowed me to explore the things that mean a lot to me and present them as a project for other people to look at. i liked the whole process of working on these shoots as i managed to create a visual representation of the feelings in the moments i captured. i could improve on the editing of the shoots, i could have added more complex elements to them.
